Cards for our Veterans
Everyone deserves a piece of Holiday Cheer.
Since 2013 we have written out cards for service members and given them to the Red Cross. In 2019 we went to the James H. Quillen VA Healthcare System at Mountain Home, Tennessee and learned our one card might make a difference for our local Veterans. So now Holidays for Heroes gives all of our cards to James H. Quillen so they will be distributed to East Tennessee Veterans. This maybe the only card/gift these folks get this holiday season. So the more the better.
A Great Event
Holidays for Heroes is open to whoever might want to come. Bring a card or we'll have some for you to sign. We'll be at the Corner Lounge this year so you can have a beverage and a snack while you write cards.
Get Involved!
If you have extra holiday cards you can donate them. If you have time please come to one of our events. We are having three this year! If you don't want to come to an event, but want to make cards we can always work with you or your school/business for a drop off point.
